Whether you're young or old, or whether you're a born adventurer or strategist, you'll easily fall in love with 1602 A.D. The graphics and soundtrack are near flawless and minus a few small historical inaccuracies, there are almost no quibbles to make about this wonderful game. This doesn't mar the game, but helps it instead by creating a light and competitive atmosphere. For those who don’t know Anno is a game where you start.

Anno is now a large series that is somewhat niche, but nevertheless, the fan base is passionate. But it may be the first game to simulate human exploration and colonization so well. 1602 is a great strategy game for someone who is just dipping his or her feet into the genre due to the game's almost non-existent micromanagement system. Anno 1602 wasn’t the first top-down game that gave the player a taste of what it must be like to be God. When I bought this PC, it had windows 8.1 installed and a free Windows 10 installation. Conclusion the problem must be on my side. But before everything was OK with Anno 1800. Still, Anno 1602 is greatly inspired by humanity’s Age of Exploration and Discovery. Also I did the test with Anno 1800 and verified the game files, again a lot of files missing. While the game has historical themes, the gameplay does not strictly conform to real-life events in history. Starting from a small colony, you will get to experience how it is like to build cities and expand your territory until you are a thriving force in the 17th and 18th century. Anno 1602 is an interesting real-time strategy game that will take you back in time.
